Sesame Soba Noodle Recipe

The very talented Milli Taylor takes us through her wonderful sesame soba noodle recipe. Perfect to serve with our Lockdown Date Night bundle!

Sesame soba noodles

Soba noodles have a lovely nutty flavour that is enhanced by the light sesame dressing.

This dish is served cold and can be made ahead. 


100g Soba noodles (this is a small portion each) 

2 tbsp Dashi (or 2 tbsp of the soup broth from your Agedashi Tofu) 

1 tsp Sesame oil 

1/2 tsp Soy sauce 

1/2 tsp Toasted white or black sesame seeds

Sliced radish for garnish 


  1. Place the soba noodles into boiling water and cook for 3 - 3.5 minutes. 
  2. Drain the noodles and place into a bowl of ice cold water, this stops them from cooking and from sticking together. 
  3. Drain the noodles and mix with the dressing and sesame seeds. 
  4. Place into bowls and garnish with sliced radish.
