The Sage Green range is designed and made at the Futa kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan. 13cm diameter 7cm height Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, fired at a high temperature and hand finished at the Futa kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan.

Featuring a moss green gloss with rich brown undertones. The glaze runs over a pattern of concentric circles. It works in perfect harmony with the rustic shapes made by the Futa kiln.

The Futa kiln is situated in the foot hills of the alpine region of Gifu prefecture. Focussing on simple shapes and traditional glazes at affordable prices their products are perfect for everyday use. 

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and are embraced.

Our tableware is food safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.
