The Steel Grey range is designed and made at the Taka kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan. 15cm diameter 9cm height Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, fired at a high temperature and hand finished at the Taka kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan.

The Steel Grey range features tones blue and grey, similar to that of a stormy sky.  Each piece has a unique powdered pattern determined by its position in the kiln during the firing process. 

Focusing on simple, practical shapes and with a gloss finish, the Steel Grey range provides an elegant background for your creations in the kitchen. 

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and are embraced.

Our tableware is food safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.
