We first spotted Hachiman at a trade show in Frankfurt – and it was love at first sight.

What drew us in? The colours, for one. Soft, modern tones that felt fresh but timeless. But it wasn’t just the cool aesthetics that stood out. Every product was beautifully made, smartly designed, and clearly built to last. Practicality and design in perfect balance – exactly the kind of thing we love at MIJ, and exactly the kind of thing we knew our customers would love too.

Based in Gujo Hachiman, Gifu, the company has been making high-quality plastic products since 1965. They blend creativity with tradition to make everyday life easier and more beautiful – and we think they’ve nailed it.

The Omnioutil Bucket – Storage, Seating, Side Table and More

First introduced in 1994, the Omnioutil Bucket has become a Japanese design icon – even winning the Long Life Design Award for objects that stand the test of time.
