Collection: Towels/Blankets

Our towels are made in Japan using only the finest raw materials and manufactured using world leading technologies, some even on historic looms. Produced in both Osaka (Senshu area) and Imabari (which is on Shikoku Island) - both locations are renowned for making exceptional quality towels.

In the Senshu area, towel production has been underway since 1887. For over 135 years, this area has served as the cradle of Japan's towel industry, where towels have been meticulously crafted. Senshu Towels make use of the abundant water resources from the Senshu mountain range. After weaving with threads coated in raw silk glue, the fabric undergoes a process known as 'atozarashi,' which is the final step that effectively washes away cotton oils, impurities, and dirt.
