This Japanese Hinoki wooden animal car is part of the Cocomo Animal & Car series - beautifully handcrafted wheeled toys made in Japan from smooth, unpainted wood.

Designed as a push-along wooden toy, it’s perfectly sized for little hands to grasp, roll, and explore. Ideal for toddlers from 1 year+, it encourages visual tracking, coordination, and early motor development as children crawl or walk alongside it.

Crafted from natural Hinoki (Japanese cypress), the wood is left unpainted to showcase its soft grain, gentle scent, and warm tactile feel. Minimalist and timeless in design, it also makes a charming nursery decoration when not in play.

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
