Rossella Menegazzo, an esteemed Associate Professor specializing in East Asian Art History at the University of Milan, holds a PhD in Oriental Studies from Ca’ Foscari University, Venice. Celebrated for her extensive work on Japanese photography, graphic design, and traditional ukiyo-e art, she has also curated numerous exhibitions and regularly contributes to Italian national newspapers on Japanese culture and art. Honored with the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation in 2017, Menegazzo is also recognized as the co-author of the bestselling book "Wa: The Essence of Japanese Design," published by Phaidon.

We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware.
