Shinto Yukine bath mat grey
Shinto Yukine bath mat grey
Category: Homeware
Sub Category: Towels/Blankets
This bath mat absorbs moisture quickly and
feels refreshing and comfortable against the skin. It can be washed without any worries like a regular towel, and comes with a convenient loop hook for hanging it up to dry.
The squeaky clean feeling of the YUKINE towel comes from a refined method called Atozarashi. This regional process removes starch and natural impurities from the cotton after weaving, enhancing its absorbency. YUKINE undergoes this process twice to maximize the cotton's ability to absorb water. The refined cotton fibers produce a squeaky feel and soften with each wash. The design combines white cotton yarns for the warp and colored yarns for the weft, creating patterns inspired by nature, such as earth, water, and snowy landscapes.

What’s in the box?
Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
