Crafted in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, this compact Japanese weeding sickle combines practical functionality with thoughtful design. Ideal for removing tough weeds, harvesting vegetables, and cutting rope or twine during gardening and outdoor activities.

The durable 2.5mm-thick hardened stainless steel blade is thicker than a standard sickle, providing excellent strength and durability. Featuring three different cutting edges, it can be used for a variety of tasks:

  • Serrated edge for pull-cutting
  • Straight edge for push-cutting
  • Side serrated edge for cutting rope and string

Fitted with a smooth walnut wood handle, the ergonomic curved shape sits comfortably in the hand and helps prevent slipping during use. A leather hanging loop allows for convenient storage when not in use.
