A compact and highly absorbent alternative to a traditional bath towel, this Binchotan Charcoal Slim Bath Towel features six layers of lightweight kaya fabric for excellent absorbency and quick drying.

Made from a soft rayon and cotton blend, the reverse uses Kishu Binchotan charcoal-infused fibre, traditionally produced in Wakayama and valued for its natural deodorising properties. The kaya fabric becomes softer and more absorbent with continued use.

The six-layer kaya fabric is highly absorbent and quick drying, becoming softer with continued use. Its slim size makes it easy to wash, dry and store.

Care Instructions

Hand wash or machine wash using a laundry net on a gentle cycle.
If using bleach, use oxygen-based bleach only.
Do not tumble dry.

Avoid pulling or applying excessive force to the fabric, as this may cause fraying or loose threads.

General Information

Kishu Binchotan is a premium Japanese white charcoal traditionally produced in Wakayama Prefecture. Known for its exceptionally dense structure, it has long been valued in Japan for its natural deodorising and moisture-managing properties.

When infused into textile fibres, Binchotan helps reduce unwanted odours while retaining the lightweight and breathable qualities of the fabric. Combined with the absorbent kaya construction, it creates a practical material particularly well suited to towels and everyday household textiles.
