The White with Blue Tear Drops range is selected at the Utsuwa workshop located in Gifu, Japan. The Japanese word 'Utsuwa' literally translates as ‘vessel’. Figuratively, it is also a symbol of generosity and humility.
The bowl set consists of 2 bowls and 2 pairs of wooden chopsticks.

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and are embraced.

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.
