The Earth range features a distinctive glaze with rustic tones and a simple, natural texture inspired by the quiet beauty of handmade Japanese tableware. When viewed in the light, the surface reveals a subtle silver shimmer, adding depth and character to the piece.

Designed with a gently raised rim, this versatile plate is ideal for main dishes, pasta, curries, grilled fish, breakfast spreads, and everyday dining. The high rim helps frame food beautifully while offering practical everyday usability for dishes with sauces or dressings.

Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, fired at a high temperature and hand finished in Gifu prefecture, Japan.

Our tableware has been made with love, and sometimes needs a little extra care. While the majority of our products are microwave and dishwasher safe, sudden changes in temperature are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item, and we don’t want that.

General Information

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.
