A shallow ceramic plate designed for serving small dishes, side plates, or shared items, offering a clean and balanced presentation at the table.

The exterior is finished in a deep indigo glaze, while the interior features a blue-and-white interpretation of The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai (1831) - an iconic image of Japanese art that continues to influence artists and designers around the world.

Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, fired at a high temperature and hand finished in Gifu prefecture, Japan.

Our tableware has been made with love, and sometimes needs a little extra care. While the majority of our products are microwave and dishwasher safe, sudden changes in temperature are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item, and we don’t want that.

General Information

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.
