Inspired by The Great Wave off Kanagawa, this side plate features a striking blue and white design that brings a sense of movement and tradition to the table.

The exterior is finished in a deep indigo glaze, while the interior presents a blue-and-white interpretation of Hokusai’s iconic work (1831), reimagined through a refined ceramic finish.

With its 21.5cm size, it is well suited to serving side dishes, desserts, bread, or light meals, offering a clean and balanced presentation for everyday dining.

Our tableware has been made with love, and sometimes needs a little extra care. While the majority of our products are microwave and dishwasher safe, sudden changes in temperature are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item, and we don’t want that.

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.
