Naomi Pollock, an American architect based in Tokyo, is renowned for her insightful coverage of Japanese design. Her writings, which span a variety of prestigious publications like A+U, Dwell, Jutakutokushu, Wallpaper*, and Architectural Record, where she serves as the Special International Correspondent, showcase her deep understanding of architectural trends. Pollock is also an accomplished author, with titles including "Modern Japanese House" and "Hitoshi Abe" under Phaidon Press, as well as "Made in Japan: 100 New Products." She has additionally contributed as a co-author to "New Architecture in Japan," further solidifying her status as an expert in the field.

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware.
