Togiba - Compact Knife Sharpening Set

The Togiba is a thoughtfully designed compact knife sharpening set that includes everything needed to maintain your kitchen knives.

Each tool is carefully sized for safe, stable, and easy use, encouraging regular sharpening as part of your cooking routine. All components fit neatly inside the integrated grinding base, keeping the set organised and ready whenever you need it.

Set Included:

  • #1000 medium whetstone - W210 x D70 x H20mm
  • Hinoki Stand (Japanese cypress) - W75 x D320 x H40mm
  • Sharpening Box - W195 x D320 x H100mm
  • File to correct the surface
  • Rust remover rubber

The wide stone surface provides steady contact with the blade for consistent results. Guide dots on the surface help you learn the correct sharpening angle - these dots naturally wear down over time, indicating that the surface may become slightly uneven. When this happens, simply flatten it with a file to restore a smooth surface.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
