Random Weft Quadruple Gauze - Soft, Breathable, and Naturally Textured

This towel features a quadruple-layered gauze weave crafted with three different thicknesses of weft yarns. By intentionally varying the arrangement of the yarns, it forms a complex, four-layer structure with a beautifully uneven rhythm.

Part of the weave uses high-twist yarn, creating subtle vertical grooves that give the fabric its signature three-dimensional texture. The result is a towel that feels soft, airy, and naturally warm against the skin.

  • Size: Face Towel / Wash Cloth
  • Wash Cloth - 33 x 33cm
  • Face Towel - 33 x 86cm
  • Material: 100% Cotton

The unique construction traps air between layers to enhance breathability and absorbency, offering lasting comfort and a gentle touch - the essence of Japanese textile craftsmanship.

Shinto Towel combines more than a century of knowledge and technical experience with an eye for innovation and creativity to create premium textiles that disrupt the status quo. Their towels are set apart by their superior absorbency, luxurious softness, and a trademark texture achieved through atozarashi, a post-weave refining process that removes starches, oils and impurities from the fibers to create an addictingly fluffy texture.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
