A compact organic dish with a softly uneven form, designed for serving small sides, condiments, or individual portions.

Its shallow shape makes it ideal for dips, sauces, pickles, or small bites, while the irregular edges add a natural, handcrafted feel to the table.

Finished in a Storm glaze, it features layered grey tones with subtle variation, creating a calm, atmospheric surface that pairs easily with a range of tableware.

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
