Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.

The Pacific Blue Glaze pattern features a soft gradient of oceanic blue, mottled with subtle speckles that create a textured, almost watercolour-like effect. The glaze transitions seamlessly into a deep charcoal at the base, giving the mug a grounded, earthy contrast while highlighting the fluid, natural beauty of the surface.

What’s in the box?
Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
A beautiful small dish - exactly what I wanted. It’s charming and a beautiful blue. Delivery was very rapid and the dish was carefully wrapped in Japanese newspaper and bubble wrap. Very pleased!
