Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.

Its wide surface makes it well suited to everyday meals, from fish, meat, and vegetables to pasta and composed plates, while the subtle rim helps contain sauces and dressings with ease.
Finished in a Washed Fern glaze, it features soft green tones with a gently layered, satin-matte texture. The natural variation in colour and subtle depth of the glaze bring a calm, organic feel to the table, making it easy to pair with both contemporary and classic settings.

What’s in the box?
Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
A beautiful small dish - exactly what I wanted. It’s charming and a beautiful blue. Delivery was very rapid and the dish was carefully wrapped in Japanese newspaper and bubble wrap. Very pleased!
