Code: HZ-5-SG

A traditional Japanese warosoku candle inspired by the concept of purification and mindful intention.

Each candle is made by blending sumac wax with white sage, a plant long regarded as sacred in Native American traditions and used in rituals of prayer and cleansing. This candle expresses that spirit of purification through material and form, offering a quiet and reflective presence.

Rooted in the teaching of the “Seventh Generation” - the idea of making decisions with consideration for those who come after - this candle is created as a symbol of care, balance, and intention for the future.

Unscented, it provides a calm and understated atmosphere, suitable for moments of reflection or everyday use.

Please note: Warosoku candles require a pin-type candle holder and cannot be used on their own.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
