This playful yet elegant mug combines Japanese craftsmanship with a touch of adventure. Featuring a tiny figurine of a rock climber scaling its textured surface, it adds a whimsical charm to your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate moments.

Inspired by the rugged beauty of nature, the mug’s matte white glaze evokes snowy peaks, transitioning into an earthy brown base that resembles rocky terrain. Crafted from durable Mino earthenware clay in Japan’s Gifu region, it embodies the "wabi-sabi" aesthetic, celebrating the beauty of imperfection.

Perfect as a gift or for adding personality to your own collection, this 250 ml mug is truly unique

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
