The Migakurin is a maintenance tool designed to restore your cutting board by removing dirt, blackening, yellowing, knife marks, and surface fuzz that cannot be cleaned through washing or bleaching alone.

To use, simply wet the board, then scrape with the rough side to remove buildup and finish with the smooth side to polish the surface. Only water is needed - no detergent required. After cleaning, rinse or wash as usual.

While long-term stains or deep yellowing may be difficult to remove completely, regular use keeps your cutting board smooth, clean, and hygienic. Suitable for rubber, polyethylene, and wooden cutting boards, including professional-grade boards used in restaurants and food preparation settings.

  • Size: 11.5 x 5 x 3cm
  • Material: Polyethylene Form (Core), Abrasive Paper (Surface Sheet)

Ideal for: Food service, restaurants, cafés, hotels, confectionery and bakery use, as well as home kitchens.

Hasegawa Corporation was founded as a ski materials manufacturer.

Skis have a wooden core sandwiched between plastic sheets which should never separate, as that can cause injury to skiers. In order to keep skiers safe, they started focusing on the technology of the adhesion.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
