Hemp & Charcoal Spiral Warosoku Candle Set - Shinto Harmony (Paulownia Wood Box)

A refined set of traditional Japanese warosoku candles inspired by the concept of harmony in Shinto.

Each candle is made by blending natural sumac wax with hemp charcoal powder, expressing balance and connection through material and form. Hemp has long been regarded as a sacred plant in Japanese Shinto, traditionally used for purification and protection.

Unscented, the candles offer a calm and steady flame with minimal soot, creating a quiet and contemplative atmosphere.

  • Candle holder

Size (per candle): Height 100mm / Diameter 12mm

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
