White Sage Warosoku Candle Box Set - Purification (Paulownia Wood Box)

A traditional Japanese warosoku candle set inspired by the idea of purification and mindful intention.

Each candle is made by blending natural sumac wax with white sage, a plant long regarded as sacred in Native American traditions and used in rituals of prayer and cleansing. This combination expresses a quiet sense of purification through both material and form.

Rooted in the teaching of the “Seventh Generation” - making decisions with consideration for those who come after - this set reflects a thoughtful approach to balance, care, and future harmony.

Unscented, the candles produce a calm, steady flame with minimal soot, creating a peaceful and reflective atmosphere.

Set includes:

  • 4 Warosoku Candles
  • Matches (design may vary)
  • Candle holder

Size (per candle): Height 100mm / Diameter 12mm
Burn time: Approx. About 60 minutes per candle
Box size: 232 × 63 × 26mm

Please note: Colour may vary slightly due to natural materials.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
