A striking dinner plate finished in Kizami Glaze, featuring finely etched radial lines that draw the eye toward the centre and create a sense of movement across the surface.

The textured Kizami design is layered with subtle earthy grey tones, giving each piece depth, movement, and a handcrafted character. Its generous 25.5cm size makes it ideal for main courses, shared dishes, or elegant presentation plating.

Blending contemporary style with traditional ceramic craftsmanship, this plate adds drama and refinement to both everyday dining and special occasions.

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
