Care Instructions
  • Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth or a well-wrung damp cloth.
  • If necessary, use a small amount of mild detergent, then wipe dry immediately.
  • Store and allow to dry in a dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, as this may cause discolouration or warping.
  • Do not soak in water or expose to excessive moisture.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or alcohol-based cleaners.
  • Do not put in a dishwasher, dish dryer or microwave.
  • Handle with care and avoid strong impacts, which may cause cracks or damage.
  • Keep away from naked flames and other sources of high heat.
  • Natural resin may occasionally appear on the surface. This is a natural characteristic of Japanese hinoki cypress and is harmless.
  • The natural hinoki fragrance comes from the wood itself and may vary over time.
