Design: Nendo (Oki Sato 佐藤 オオキ)
Oki Sato, born in Canada in 1977, graduated top of his class from the Department of Architecture at Waseda University in 2000 and later completed his master’s degree there in 2002. In the same year, he founded the design studio nendo.
Working across architecture, interior design, product design, and graphics, nendo has received numerous international awards and recognition, including being named among Newsweek’s "100 Most Respected Japanese People." Their works are held in major museum collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
