Design: Ross McBride
Ross McBride was born in Pennsylvania, USA, in 1962 and graduated in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts. After moving to Japan, he worked at the studio of designer Takenobu Igarashi before founding Ross Design in 1991, later renamed Normal Inc.
His work spans graphic, product, and interior design. In 2006 he launched the watch brand Normal Timepieces, exhibited internationally at venues including MoMA, the Design Museum London, and Isetan Shinjuku.
He has received numerous awards including the iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, and Good Design Award.
