Yoko Dobashi worked at the design company IDÉE from 1997 to 2002, where she was involved in developing signature furniture pieces and launching the brand SPUTNIK, presented in London, Milan, and New York.
Since 2012, she has led the workshop “Design Life with Kids Interior Workshop.” Working as a freelance designer and interior writer, she collaborates with various companies and publications while exploring design that enriches everyday living with children.
Her design for the fun pun clock for Lemnos received the Good Design Award in 2017. She also writes a regular column titled “Interior Design for a Height of 156 cm” for Precious.jp.
