Nychair X 80 Japanese Folding Lounge Chair - Natural White

Originally introduced in 1980, ten years after the first Nychair X - the Nychair X 80 was relaunched in 2022 as a refined evolution of Takeshi Nii’s iconic design. It preserves the sculptural lightness and folding ingenuity of the original while offering a subtly higher seating position for a more upright, versatile posture.

With an elevated seat height and centre of gravity compared to the 1970 model, the Nychair X 80 supports both relaxed lounging and more engaged sitting. It transitions naturally from quiet reading to conversation or informal dining, making it particularly suited to modern, flexible interiors.

Its engineered folding structure reduces the chair to a slim profile for storage or movement between rooms - a reflection of the Japanese philosophy of adaptable living.
