With its generous 28cm size, gently curved surface and slim rounded edge, this Japanese ceramic dinner plate provides an elegant setting for main courses, pasta, salads and beautifully plated dishes.

The White Fade Glaze features an opaque white, blended with mushroom tones of pink and ivory, focussing on simple, practical shapes with a subtle matt finish. Each piece has a unique speckled pattern determined by its position in the kiln during the firing process.

Our tableware has been made with love, and sometimes needs a little extra care. While the majority of our products are microwave and dishwasher safe, sudden changes in temperature are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item, and we don’t want that.

Most of Made in Japan products are sourced from small, family-run kilns in Gifu on the central island of Honshu, with the rest of our collections sourced from all over Japan. Our products make their way from Japan to our lovely warehouse in Yorkshire, where we keep them safe until it’s time for them to head to their new homes.
