Little Mouse and Big Bear live at opposite ends of the same road, each wishing for a friend. Every morning, they pass by one another without noticing, their worlds quietly overlapping but never connecting.

One day, their eyes meet. It feels a bit awkward at first, as new friendships often do, but soon they find themselves sipping tea together in Big Bear’s cozy home and making plans to meet again the next Sunday.

When a fierce storm blows into town, their new friendship is put to the test. Will the storm ruin what they have started to build?

This charming story of friendship and courage is sure to warm your heart, like sharing cookies and a hot drink with a dear friend.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
