Born in Osaka in 1980, Kazuya Koike began his career at a design company in 2003, where he worked as a chief designer on both client projects and in-house product development. In 2012, he founded Doogdesign.
His work spans a wide range of industrial design fields, including everyday objects, stationery, furniture, and consumer electronics. In addition to product design, he is involved in brand development and creative direction for companies and regional industries, working on projects both in Japan and internationally.
His work has received numerous awards, including the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award.
